My sweet boy, another month has gone by for us. I still can't bring myself around to sharing you with preschool, and gosh, you make it harder to fathom any time apart as you get cuter each day.
Your favorite phrases lately are "I'm ok!" and "Where did the [insert item] go?" The "I'm ok!" stems from the fact that you fall a lot, and I'm always asking "are you OK?!"...so you decided to beat me to the punch by saying it as soon as you fall. You're so serious when you do it, too! If I could just video tape you all day to capture this, *sigh*, completely adorable. And the second phrase just popped out sporadically a couple weeks ago. You saw an airplane over head and started signing and saying "airplane, airplane!". As soon as it was gone you said, "Where did the airplane go?". Your first 5-word sentence, yay! Now you have to know where EVERYTHING went...usually a vehicle or one of your favorite people. "Where did daddy's car go?" "Where did daddy go?" (I assume you ask about me when I'm gone, too :)
I love your face-smashing, cheek kissing, super lovey enthusiasm! I left for 2 hours yesterday evening, and I got the kind of reception people get when they're lost on a deserted island for a year and magically make it home. Gosh, you make me feel special and loved, kiddo.
Right now you're most often being referred to (by me) as Sweet Boy, Sweetums, Sweet Pea, Pumpkin, or Punkin Pie. Yep, another name change. You have a well check next month so we'll see if you're growing. I do know your hair is growing crazily, and we'll need to remedy that in the near future. When you got up this morning it was all bent in weird directions, probably because it's so long! Hair cutting photos to come soon, I hope.
You're still my favorite person in the whole world, and I love you more than anything.
