Texas vs Texas Tech Tailgate

My one Saturday off for a long time, and it happened to be on the day of the big Texas vs Texas Tech game. It's a great game for tailgating, and we were ready for some food and fun! Would have been nice if the game had been later in the season...say, November :) But we made it through the heat - mostly by me sitting in the shade in a big chair.

Note that many of my photos are taken from my point of view in that chair, ha!

Yes, crouch down next to my chair for a picture of us sweating!

Time to turn the pig -

Chair thief!

Back to normal :)

27.1 weeks pregnant

Anthony snapped a couple photos of me this past Sunday morning as I was on my way out to the bridal extravaganza to get set up for the show.

Ignore the squinty eyes, it was really freakin bright :)

Of course I appreciate my husband's handiwork in helping me document my belly growth, but I'm so excited for when Whitney and Leah do some real maternity photos of me! Yay!

Whitney Lee - Here I come!

I finally found time to get my portfolio done, write the bio, get a WLP blog post together and meet up with Whitney to officially sign my contract! I'M NOW ON THE WEBSITE!!!! So many people have been asking me if I still work there because I've been meaning to take care of all these things sooner. But, fortunately, I've had lots of weddings and a busy busy life so all those "official" things kept sliding off the radar. Now they're done!

Go check me out on the main site by clicking on "pretty pictures" and then "amanda folio". And look for my recent post on the WLP blog (there's also a post about my wedding up there).

We had the final bridal show of the year today. Between yesterday's wedding and today's show, I'm exhausted. Hope lots of good brides come out of this!

LLL

Tonight is my first La Leche League meeting...it's starting to make my path to motherhood seem shorter and shorter! In honor of a night of pre-baby, breastfeeding-knowledge fun, here are pictures I meant to post last week when I was 24 weeks along.

I would also like to mention that tonight's session will be called 'Dining at the Breastaurant'. It's a whole new world.

Check out this seriously fidgety girl with 'dunlop' syndrome :)

Now If I could just come up with his middle name and choose Godparents and...you know, bake him for 14.2 more weeks, then we'll be all set!
