Mother's Day

I had a fabulous Mother's Day this year (unlike the chaos of last year). I went to breakfast with my mom, came back and had lunch with lots of the family, went to the Pecan Street Festival, and then we cooled off in the backyard with a little pool my mom brought. The Pecan Street Festival was way too freaking hot, and I could care less to go back again, at least not with a small child. But cooling off outside was nice. I didn't know how the baby would feel about it because he's only been swimming a few times, and he's usually in a big pool. At first he was hesitant, but it didn't take him long to figure it out it was a blast! I loved my second mother's day!
