My baby boy can't be big enough for a wagon, CAN HE?! Apparently, he can. My parents got him his first Little Red Wagon for Christmas, but we were "homeless" at the time, so they kept it until we got all settled in the new house. They brought it with them on their visit this weekend, and my dad got it all set up. Fun fun fun! We stuffed an old comforter in it, and he rode around happy as a clam in the back (wait, clams are happy, right?? cause this baby was!). I should say, happy as a clam at high tide :) And when he was finished riding in it, he pushed it. Push push push, all over the yard. It's his little walker.
(Yes, Dad, you're on my blog. DEAL WITH IT! :)
I'd say Hondo is enjoying our new back yard.
Sometimes after naps, this kid wakes up with rooster hair. And sometimes he tries to walk with rooster hair.
It's cold today. Really cold. AND WINDY. Pretty darn windy. Did I mention there was a lot of wind?? Weather.com said it would be here around 3am. I was awoken promptly at 2:57am (darn early wind!) by LOUD wind. It kept us up for a while, but fortunately the baby was able to sleep through it. I got up this morning to the realization that I forgot to clean off my patio table after having fun outside this weekend. Several things are now missing off our table, as well as the invite to our neighbors' get-to-know-you shindig. Guess I'll be RSVP'ing in person to that one.
Anyway, since we can't play outside with our new wagon today (which is insane considering how hot it was when we were doing it yesterday!)...I thought we'd bundle up and run a couple of errands. I got out at the store and had my car door ripped from my hands. Yikes! I brave the wind to try and open the trunk, no can do, the biting wind is pushing against it. Well shoot! I gave up and got back in the car and drove us home without accomplishing one single thing. Except the waste of fossil fuels. I expect a note from a tree hugger on my desk tomorrow.
Here he is all bundled up...
It's attack of the bundled baby!
Not looking forward to being trapped inside the next few days. Hmph.
