First of all, this is going to be a very negative post....know this before you move on... (ok, there's some cute baby pics too!).
Coral snakes - screw you! I was walking my sweet baby around the neighborhood on Monday in our awesome jogging stroller (woo!), and I came around a corner and there's a tail stretched across the sidewalk. In half a second your mind can think a million things. My first reaction was to freeze, then I try to calm myself and say it's probably a grass snake, then I go through the sing-song rhyme "red touch black, friend of Jack, red touch yellow...KILLED A FELLOW!!!" Holy crap, it's a coral snake! I backed away as it slithered into some lady's back yard, and then I went to knock on her door and let her know because she has a little dog. She wasn't home, and I could hear the dog inside so all was well. It made me so jumpy. Suddenly everything I saw looked like a snake. *shudder* It's enough to make your skin crawl.
Dogs - screw you! Not all dogs, just the two that live on my street. There's a rottweiler and a pitbull that belong to our ghetto neighbors (I know, that description REALLY narrows it down), and they barked all night on Saturday when we had to get up super early the next morning. Police and animal control were involved, yet the aggressive dogs persist. This morning they chased me back into my house and stood underneath my window and snarled and snapped for hours. I kept calling animal control and police...nothing. Screw you, APD! Thanks for saying you'll come but then not coming! SCREW YOU! I'll be so glad when we move to Williamson County.
On to nicer things, Anthony sports his golf outfit (which he isn't happy about), and there are some more pics of the new casa...
Can't wait for my COUSIN! to get better. We need a visit...but a germ free one!
And and and this weekend is Son's Baptism! WOO! And a double-header wedding weekend. And my parents will be staying with me. Whoa. Lots and lots to do!
