Me and the Babe

Oh boy, I am sleeeeepy. I tossed and turned all night; probably because Anthony denied me my extra cuddle pillow :/ We had a WLP lunch meeting today, and keeping up with a baby for 2 1/2 hours at a restaurant while attempting to eat and talk shop is not easy. But it was so great to meet Katherine and Amanda Jane in person! It's weird to "talk" to people over the internet for so long and then suddenly have a face and personality to put with it.

Then I had a newborn session this evening. I had done the couple's maternity session back in July (I recall vividly how I was eaten up by mosquitoes, ugh), and their little boy, Bryson, was born this past Friday. He is the most alert newborn I have ever seen. He was awake when I got there, and he was awake for most of the 2 hours that I was taking his picture. Normally I wouldn't spend so long, but he was pretty unhappy about what was going on, and there were some bodily fluid incidents :) Babies! But I know his mom and dad will be happy with the results.

*Yawn* Ok, I'm posting some cutie pie pictures that were taken yesterday and today. Since Anthony can't seem to take awesome pictures of me and the baby, I figured it couldn't hurt to just hold out the camera myself and see what we get! Plus there's lots more good stuff of the little man by himself. Enjoy!
